Experiment

POTUS Reagan in a video source on voicethread explained an experiment conducted by a high school student in the USA highlighting the differences between Socialist and Capitalism economic systems.

We're going to conduct a similar experiment with voicethread and bonus assignment grades!

Reagan's Economic Experiment

"Socialist" economic experiment

Rules for Socialism:

Grade is based upon the group's effort. No minimum effort is required and no one may complete more than 4 responses. Grade is granted when 23 responses are completed for a bonus of 3 marks. For each 23 responses the group bonus grade is increased by 3 marks for potential bonus of 12 marks!

"Capitalist" economic experiment

http://voicethread.com/?#u843353.b1090976.i5835841

Rules for Capitalism:

Grade is INDIVIDUAL based. There is no minimum or maximum number of responses allowed. 3 bonus marks per response is granted up to 4 and for each resposne beyond 4 a bonus mark of 1 per response will be given.
